Our training
Our Han Guk Mu Sool syllabus revolves around sets of grappling techniques & takedowns, connected movements, body conditioning, Martial Arts knowledge, weapons and self defense scenarios.
Code of Ethics
As members of the Han Guk Mu Sool Association, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all our interactions and practices in and out of our lessons. By adhering to these ethical guidelines, we strengthen the foundation of Han Guk Mu Sool to promote a positive and respectful community and to better ourselves, peers and society.
– responsibility – treat everyone with respect and dignity no matter their background, race, gender, age, identity or skill level. To never discriminate, harass or bully.
– safety – prioritise the well-being of all students during training and events
– confidentiality- respect the privacy of fellow practitioners, instructors and association matters.
– conflict resolution- approach conflicts with an open mind and avoid violence and confrontation.
– positive contribution- contribute positively to other members of our school and to our community/society as a whole to promote encouragement and share knowledge.
– professionalism- to be professional in and out of Han Guk Mu Sool.
Code of conduct
-respect & courtesy- we treat all individuals with respect regardless of background, rank, or experience. We honour our fellow practitioners, instructors and opponents by acknowledging their skills and actions. We do not disrespect anyone with our behavior or language
– discipline & self control- Our actions reflect the essence of our martial art. We do not use our skills for malicious intent or harm. We aim to responsibly use our training and avoid unnecessary conflict
– integrity & honesty- we uphold the highest standards of responsibility, integrity and honesty in all our interactions. We acknowledge our mistakes and always strive to improve ourselves and others
– unity & communtiy- we contribute to our Martial arts community and support our fellow practitioners on their personal journey. We encourage camaraderie, teamwork and personal growth
– cultural appreciation- we honour our cultural heritage of Korean Martial Arts and strive to learn and uphold traditional practices. We adhere to the laws of our regions and promote ethical behavior
– continuous learning- we approach our Martial arts journey as a lifelong path of learning. We are open to new techniques, perspectives, challenges and practises to embrace our growing evolution. We promote a safe and inclusive environment, and will reject discrimination, harassment and bullying.
